Indrahotelsnresorts: Fraud; Hotel apple paradise Manali :Fraud; JourneyTrip.com:Fraud; Hotel Rajat Shimla:Fraud

I am writing this because of my bad experience with Indra hotels. If you have planned to make bookings with Indra hotels, Please know that you will lose your money. They do not have their own hotel as apple paradise belongs to apple group. They are consultant. They make bookings behalf of you and they will get commission out of it. Instead of that, you can directly contact hotel to make your booking. Indra hotel will ask you to pay 80% of amount to confirm booking. (Even the reputed Coxandkings.Com asks only 3000 per person to confirm your booking). They expect you to pay most of the amount of your package.

All below websites is related to same person. Please be careful while dealing with anyone of these.

I was impressed with their well designed website and I thought they are professional. But I came to know they are not when they made me to beg for refund of my money. I have spent almost Rs.2000/- to call and ask for my refund status for four months.

I have called to Instant booking number (9990306478) provided on below website to ask for information. (http://www.indrahotelsnresorts.com/) A person name “Rishab bhardwaj” is so clever to convince me that he can offer best price. As I was about to travel from Mumbai and my train tickets were in waiting, I asked Rishab that “in case, my train tickets will not get confirmed, what would be my cancellation charge?” He said me that he can refund me 80% amount in case of cancellation. Based on his confirmation I have made the bookings and I have deposit 80% amount.

Before I made the booking Rishab was very generous and soft spoken. He immediately responded to my call. He used to call me to ask “Sir, what have you decided?”.  Unfortunately, my train’s e-ticket was not confirmed and I found that I could not travel. I have cancelled my bookings almost 36 hours prior. I have cancelled my bookings on 5^th of January, 2013. I was expecting refund at most within 10 days. I called Rishab around 15^th January to ask when do I get my refund. His answer was, “Sir you will get refund within two days.” And I used to call him after two days. And answer was same every time. “After two days or after three days”

Since 15^th January, 2013 to 10^th April, 2013 I used to call him every three to four days to ask him about status. He did not even tell me what would be the refund amount till April 10^th. He was claiming that hotel is not refunding money. During these four months I have asked Rishab to provide me the hotel number, but he did not give me the hotel number as well. And on 10^th April, after begging him for refund he said, he can return only 40% of money. Then I checked his confirmation voucher. This voucher was emailed by him at the time of booking. Voucher was showing me that my booking was done for hotel apple paradise. I have found hotel number from hotel’s website. I called hotel to found truth. I managed to get hotel in charge’s number. I told him the situation and he explained me that there is no booking made with my name for the booking period. He said that all consultants will give money after you checkout from the hotels. Hence, it was confirmed that he did not give money to hotel. After four months he said he can refund only 40% amount. So his goal is to mentally torture person for three to four months. So that person will mentally upset and finally agrees for less refund amount.

My suggestion is do not deal anything with Indra hotels. If you are planning to visit any city, just directly search for reputed hotel. If hotel is reputed you will direct contact number. Call them and ask for online booking. Most of the hotels provide online booking. If anyone of you has faced any such problem with Indra Hotels, please mention here so that other people like me will not suffer from this.
